The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Ömer-Faruk Balcik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC MANLE's Norberto Heerdt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save FC MANLE from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Ömer-Faruk Balcik put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Armindo Salgado. After 11 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Gervásio Severiano. After a rather tough play, FC MANLE's Tuna Erengüç got a free kick in the 13th minute. With an all-out effort, VB-Team's Norberto Heerdt threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gervásio Severiano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 15 minutes into the game, Çağdaş Akkın was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC MANLE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VB-Team the free kick. Çağdaş Akkın hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Luís Braga shot from long distance in the 16th minute, but Norberto Heerdt was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. VB-Team were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after FC MANLE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Braga took the corner. If Ömer-Faruk Balcik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 27 minutes, Kaya Ulucay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC MANLE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaya Ulucay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arthur Guerra hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. A collision led to VB-Team getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Enzo Pellecchia hit a great ball. Joaquim de Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Norberto Heerdt made a huge save. VB-Team's Shao Kun Yuan got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ömer-Faruk Balcik to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Joaquim de Barros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VB-Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Aras Görkem Akgüngör hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Kaya Ulucay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Salgado having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Luís Braga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VB-Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Luís Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Dariusz Ciempa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC MANLE's Norberto Heerdt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervásio Severiano in the 64th minute of play. Norberto Heerdt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervásio Severiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norberto Heerdt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Braga went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. If Ömer-Faruk Balcik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Heerdt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shao Kun Yuan in the 79th minute of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Gervásio Severiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC MANLE's Norberto Heerdt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luís Caeiro took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norberto Heerdt. Norberto Heerdt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Luís Caeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norberto Heerdt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Caeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Norberto Heerdt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Caeiro in the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, VB-Team's Gervásio Severiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Norberto Heerdt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. When the referee ended the match the VB-Team players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
