An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Theobald in the 4th minute of play forced Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hulk Speed in the 6th minute of play. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Roceira SC! Joe Tate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho Barral having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's Hulk Speed sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmond Verdun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcelinho Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Tate in the 21st minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Pastor Ado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Errecaborda AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pastor Ado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelinho Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joe Tate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Ksawery Winnicki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Roceira SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 32 minutes, Pastor Ado made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute, Emílio Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ksawery Winnicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Roceira SC's Dedê Oliveira was substituted for Aílton Damião. The wind increased when Joe Tate made the kick off in the second half. Errecaborda AFC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Roceira SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emílio Terra took the corner. The corner led Errecaborda AFC's Mauro Rameriz to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcelinho Barral despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Errecaborda AFC's Joe Tate in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Roceira SC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 63rd minute, Joe Tate made a precise shot to the right of Marcelinho Barral. Roceira SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Errecaborda AFC's Prospero Jerardo got a free kick in the 66th minute. Marcelinho Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Terra in the 72nd minute of the match. Dedê Oliveira's late challenge caught a Errecaborda AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dedê Oliveira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute of the match, Joe Tate tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcelinho Barral saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcelinho Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Emílio Terra's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcelinho Barral firmly grabbed it by the left post. 82 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ksawery Winnicki came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Joe Tate kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcelinho Barral. That made the score 1-3 in the 84 minute of play. When Hulk Speed came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Roceira SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hulk Speed couldn't finish the play. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hulk Speed in the 90th minute of play. Hulk Speed took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmond Verdun. Edmond Verdun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 93rd match minute, Roceira SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ksawery Winnicki to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcelinho Barral. Marcelinho Barral yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Errecaborda AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
