An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateusz Marajda in the 9th minute of play forced Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claude Joyner in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm got control of the ball when Mateusz Marajda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauro Silvino might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dario Wilhelm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauro Silvino ran back to his position shaking his head. C. A. Potrero's Celestino Sidro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rashad Richardson in the 25 minute of the game. In the 28th minute Mateusz Marajda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 played minutes Cascade Park West got a freekick which was hit by Dexter Benton. 33 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Mateusz Marajda came free, but Dario Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A. Potrero's Karol Borowski was substituted for Mateusz Marajda. 47 minutes into the match, C. A. Potrero's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Joyner came free, but Emil Arendarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 88 played minutes Cascade Park West got a freekick which was hit by Dexter Benton. After 89 minutes, Pastor Montrell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Potrero and the Cascade Park West players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Cleto Txindoki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. C. A. Potrero had played much better football throughout.
