An unexpectedly hard shot by Joe Tate in the 14th minute of play forced LEBEG Team's goalkeeper Thiago Leiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Zapolski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmond Verdun having to make a save. 16 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Zapolski came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Zapolski might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmond Verdun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmond Verdun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arturo Zapolski's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. When Arturo Zapolski came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the LEBEG Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Zapolski couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind LEBEG Team's goalkeeper Thiago Leiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Leiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Ado in the 42nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Arturo Zapolski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmond Verdun was relentless in the 45th minute of the game.
