In the 31st minute, Pastor Montrell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felippe Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Atlético Capixaba's protests and gave Vítor-Borba Xerifão a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Vítor-Borba Xerifão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 played minutes Atlético Capixaba got a freekick which was hit by Vítor-Borba Xerifão. Charles de Brito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karol Borowski went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C. A. Potrero fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atlético Capixaba had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
