Baltasar Matias was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baltasar Matias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Türkeş Akşit in the 38th minute of the match. After some careless play in the VB-Team defense, Türkeş Akşit kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baltasar Matias. The VB-Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltasar Matias should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Türkeş Akşit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltasar Matias was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Andırın SK's Zhu Ao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 52nd minute of play. Türkeş Akşit could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Baltasar Matias made a huge save. Olaf Jarosz might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltasar Matias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olaf Jarosz ran back to his position shaking his head. 80 minutes into the match, Andırın SK's Olaf Jarosz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltasar Matias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Shao Kun Yuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Andırın SK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
