The supporters of Hungary booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Cesaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Patricio Cedro hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marcelo Barovero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 31st minute of play. Marcelo Barovero didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Hungary's Major Barna shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 40th minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Marcelo Barovero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iván Leguizamón in the 54th minute of play. Maravilla were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tobias Banegas took the corner. The corner ended in Tobias Banegas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel did a great save. After a rather tough play, Maravilla's Santiago Reno got a free kick in the 61st minute. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Marcelo Barovero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Marcelo Barovero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Arnau charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Arnau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Arnau. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balazs Lajos got free with Marcelo Barovero in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Hungary's Balazs Lajos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelo Barovero. That made the score 0-3 after 79 minutes of play. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Maravilla's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Katona Janos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelo Barovero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 88th minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Maravilla's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hungary's Antal Valentin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcelo Barovero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 94th minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes of play Maravilla's Paulo Arnau was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Hungary booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Arnau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
