Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Viriato Moura kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Evaristo Cordareo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Wilson Amorim, passed just outside the right post. In the 10th minute Iker Segio suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 10 minutes, Felipe Barreto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portugal and the Aerolineas Argentinas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aerolineas Argentinas FC made a substitution. Daryl Lutz replaced Iker Segio. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Felipe Barreto got a free kick in the 12th minute. With his leg Wilson Amorim managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Evaristo Cordareo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Julián Valla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 18th minute of play. Wilson Amorim was a little too slow when Manuel Markel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-0. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Loi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 33 minutes on the clock, Bertil Lindsten commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 37th minute of play forced Aerolineas Argentinas FC's goalkeeper Julián Valla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albino Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 45th minute of play forced Aerolineas Argentinas FC's goalkeeper Julián Valla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Daniel Pimentel might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julián Valla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When Portugal's Viriato Moura in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julián Valla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viriato Moura had several of the Aerolineas Argentinas FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Julián Valla as he didn't even see the shot coming. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Julián Valla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Aerolineas Argentinas FC from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute Felipinho Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julián Valla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julián Valla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolomeu Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Portugal's Caetano Moreira in 81 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Julián Valla guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Aerolineas Argentinas FC made a substitution. Julián Valla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Stacy Doll managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stacy Doll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julián Valla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to Aerolineas Argentinas FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Evaristo Cordareo hit a great ball. Portugal's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
