Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. Justo Viator hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute Pablo Vegetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Echavarri. George Echavarri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. With his leg Tommy Kahn managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when UE Cornella's George Echavarri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as UE Cornella's George Echavarri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. 23 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when George Echavarri came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Germany's Sven Krakouer got a free kick in the 25th minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Echavarri in the 29th minute of play. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Segundo Casco in the 31st minute. UE Cornella's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edvin Vennerberg in the 32nd minute. The corner led UE Cornella's Edvin Vennerberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Tommy Kahn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Vegetti got free with Tommy Kahn in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Echavarri in the 37th minute of the match. George Echavarri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and George Echavarri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. George Echavarri really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 44th minute, George Echavarri made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when George Echavarri made the kick off in the second half. Pablo Vegetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Janik Vogt hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 59 minutes of play, UE Cornella's George Echavarri made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pablo Vegetti took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After a rather tough play, Germany's Ulrich Stein got a free kick in the 67th minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Vegetti in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, George Echavarri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Echavarri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 75th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rauf Uçanok, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Nofre Amorebieta made a huge save. Albin Holweck scored 7-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nofre Amorebieta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Nofre Amorebieta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Echavarri in the 92nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Echavarri, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Albin Holweck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UE Cornella the free kick. After 95 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. 97 minutes into the game, UE Cornella's Pablo Vegetti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. UE Cornella walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
