Elliott Bergman made in the 5th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Germany's Janik Vogt. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Ramsdal having to interfere. Jörgen Vikström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Jörgen Vikström slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Vikström came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Holweck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Ramsdal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Germany's Sven Krakouer got a free kick in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Ramsdal came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd match minute, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Knut Rang to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Vikström in the 55th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Knut Rang made in the 58th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Elliott Bergman. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Aaron Ramsdal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Elmtaryd Agunnaryd from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Sten Dum's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 75th minute of the game.
