Pär Are was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half the score was level. After a defensive mix-up in Coviolo's zone, Micah Macdonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pär Are came out of the goal and Micah Macdonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kyle Cox's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pär Are read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Micah Macdonald charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Micah Macdonald the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, England's Micah Macdonald got a free kick in the 91st minute. With an all-out effort, England's Pär Are threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kyle Cox, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. England played a much better game than Coviolo and deserved their victory. The Coviolo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
