Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chris Nygaard kicked off to start the match. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. Thor Forssberg scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keld Paulsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Genaro Quintyn got a free kick in the 18th minute. Raul Jax didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Nygaard went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Genaro Quintyn made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. In the 24thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Raul Jax was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute of the game Genaro Quintyn made a throw-in which Thor Forssberg played forward. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thor Forssberg in the 27th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Thor Forssberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thor Forssberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Raul Jax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Thor Forssberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thor Forssberg. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Thor Forssberg sent off a good shot on target. Olav Graversen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenn Skou made in the 45th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bertram Svenningsen. The supporters of Denmark booed when A.D Atlético Villa Gesell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marin Mascovescu didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thor Forssberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Thor Forssberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Raul Jax yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Forssberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thor Forssberg in the 68th minute of the match. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thor Forssberg in the 72nd minute of play. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thor Forssberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Forssberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 91 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Kenn Skou. Thor Forssberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denmark's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
