Egbert Nijveldt hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, YESHUA F.C's Wambasther Gattuso got a free kick in the 5th minute. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Serafino Jurdan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafino Jurdan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Netherlands booed when YESHUA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, YESHUA F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Serafino Jurdan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafino Jurdan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 18 played minutes YESHUA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Guerra. Serafino Jurdan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 19th minute of play. Moisés Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Netherlands booed when YESHUA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bas Tuitert hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Renatinho Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YESHUA F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renatinho Schmidt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Torres took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Serafino Jurdan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Arce came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Serafino Jurdan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Serafino Jurdan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafino Jurdan made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafino Jurdan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Arce in the 78th minute of play. Wágner Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serafino Jurdan skillfully saved the ball. When Tiago Xavier fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YESHUA F.C's protests and gave Tiago Xavier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute, Tiago Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafino Jurdan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 85th minute of the match. After 86 minutes YESHUA F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. After 86 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Egbert Nijveldt. Tiago Xavier was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 90th match minute, YESHUA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Xavier to maneuver through the defense. YESHUA F.C's Serafino Jurdan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save YESHUA F.C from getting a goal against them. Gustaaf Groeneveldt succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 96th playminute. The YESHUA F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
