Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Sostene Vitulli got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christopher Langford quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Couto Mixto F.C. getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Honorato Feria hit a great ball. In the 44th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Langford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel-Omar Bati to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 54th minute of play forced Couto Mixto F.C.'s goalkeeper Christopher Langford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Deodato Magliozzi. Zaccheo Andolina in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christopher Langford, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Blain, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, José Augusto Hoffmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Augusto Hoffmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Couto Mixto F.C. could leave the field as winners, despite Italy having more of the ball for most of the match.
