Özbek Samet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Kjellman, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Maurício Bomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotiris Zacharakis in the 19th minute of play. Aristides Gombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Özbek Samet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Bal op het Dak's Maurício Bomba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save FC Bal op het Dak from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Maurício Bomba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sotiris Zacharakis. FC Bal op het Dak's Maurício Bomba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save FC Bal op het Dak from getting a goal against them. Sotiris Zacharakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Maurício Bomba made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Petros Mirtsos put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Maurício Bomba. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zheng Yang Zhen got free with Maurício Bomba in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sotiris Zacharakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Maurício Bomba made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zheng Yang Zhen in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurício Bomba saved FC Bal op het Dak from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

FC Bal op het Dak's Marick Brunt was substituted for Aristides Gombal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zheng Yang Zhen made a kick off. After 54 minutes, Sotiris Zacharakis made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Bal op het Dak's Maurício Bomba tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Özbek Samet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute Petros Mirtsos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Bomba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Özbek Samet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Mendes in the 60th minute of play. When Björn Kamp came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the ΠΑΟΚ FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Björn Kamp couldn't finish the play. ΠΑΟΚ FC made a substitution. Vassilis Bitsikas replaced Theofanis Klotsobounidas.
