Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. After 21 played minutes Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Nerio. In the 29th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julian Roland was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Wawrzyniec Sakowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Casper Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35thth minute of the game Luis Oso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julian Roland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 36th minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Nerio to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's zone, Yves Dervaux stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Roland came out of the goal and Yves Dervaux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Oso in the 55th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
