Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zarando Cordoba got the match started through his kick off. Ciruel Team's Sigfrido Soldado got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Puyol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. José Puyol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Graciano Coutinho in the 9th minute of the match. Bahiano Gibert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Wilson Amorim when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 15 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Moura. If Viriato Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes Ciruel Team got a freekick which was hit by Zuberbuhler Gordo. A collision led to Ciruel Team getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Toma Ron hit a great ball. Felipe Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Puyol having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ciruel Team defense, Viriato Moura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Puyol. The Ciruel Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Puyol should have stopped the shot. In the 35th minute, Toma Ron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Daniel Pimentel fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portugal's protests and gave Daniel Pimentel a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Pimentel kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Crispin Klander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zarando Cordoba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toma Ron lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Ciruel Team getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Toma Ron hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ciruel Team's José Puyol. José Puyol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Ciruel Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Portugal were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viriato Moura to make the kick off. Ciruel Team's José Puyol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 53rd minute of play. When Maureo Landa fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ciruel Team's protests and gave Maureo Landa a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Ciruel Team got a freekick which was hit by Maureo Landa. Graciano Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ciruel Team's José Luis Torrente got a free kick in the 57th minute. The supporters of Portugal booed when Ciruel Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zarando Cordoba didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Puyol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ciruel Team's José Puyol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Ciruel Team from getting a goal against them. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. In the 76th minute Daniel Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Puyol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute Portugal were awarded a corner. Daniel Pimentel went to the cornerflag to take it. After some careless play in the Ciruel Team defense, Bartolomeu Dias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Puyol. The Ciruel Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Puyol should have stopped the shot. Ciruel Team's José Puyol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Ciruel Team from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Portugal's José Puyol threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bartolomeu Dias, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Portugal played a much better game than Ciruel Team and deserved their victory. The Ciruel Team players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
