Sportivo Mela Banco's Loco Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 31st minute of play. Germany were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Sportivo Mela Banco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Sachs took the corner. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 57 played minutes Sportivo Mela Banco got a freekick which was hit by Cheng Xiong Ang. Loco Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Rıfat Sehriyar in the 97th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sportivo Mela Banco walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
