An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 20th minute of play forced Estrela Solitária's goalkeeper Benjamim Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estrela Solitária's Benjamim Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Aranda in the 23rd minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamim Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Toledo in the 35th minute of the match. Benjamim Dante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Toledo's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Benjamim Dante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adria Bielsa went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Spain from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerd Müller to strike the kick off in the second half. Benjamim Dante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Toledo in the 57th minute. Spain's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
