Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Des Gill made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 minutes of play, Hungary's Takacs Tibor made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Bird was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 7th minute of play forced Mayo's goalkeeper Alexander Bird to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Des Gill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Bird came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Hegedus Henrik. But to his dismay, Hegedus Henrik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Alexander Bird made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Mayo's Des Gill sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mayo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Evelio Goren in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Alexander Bird reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes Mayo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alexander Bird quite easily take care of the ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Takacs Tibor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mayo's Alexander Bird was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Des Gill in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Des Gill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Katona Janos kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Des Gill kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. After 45 played minutes Mayo got a freekick which was hit by Des Gill. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Alexander Bird was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th minute Des Gill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Robins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Mayo's Steve Oliver was substituted for Will Porter. Mayo made a substitution. Guido Pagomari replaced Patrick Robins. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Bird having to interfere. In the 81stth minute of the game Des Gill who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guido Pagomari's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Antal Valentin could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Alexander Bird however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, William Symons managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mayo's supporters rose to their feet, but William Symons was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Balazs Lajos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Des Gill went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score.
