The audience thought a goal was coming when Kudret Tüzer got free with Wilson Amorim in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Koti Kot sent off a good shot on target. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Resel in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Viriato Moura made a precise shot to the right of Damazy Kensicki. Thunderstorm Riders's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Thunderstorm Riders's Martin Tudoran got a free kick in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the Thunderstorm Riders defense, Bartolomeu Dias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damazy Kensicki. The Thunderstorm Riders fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damazy Kensicki should have stopped the shot. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Houseman in the 87th minute of the match. Damazy Kensicki had great luck who in the 92ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Bartolomeu Dias from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 93rd minute of the match Portugal got a corner. Thunderstorm Riders's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Pimentel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Thunderstorm Riders fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Thunderstorm Riders's Daniel Houseman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
