Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Thunderstorm Riders's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Damazy Kensicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 5 minutes Thunderstorm Riders's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Italy's Porziano Marchitelli to fire away a dangerous shot which Damazy Kensicki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zaccheo Andolina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damazy Kensicki having to make a save. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aureliusz Polkoski in the 9th minute. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Resel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 16th minute of the game was made by Zhuang Tian Kun with Aureliusz Polkoski as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kudret Tüzer in the 17th minute of play. Damazy Kensicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Zaccheo Andolina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Koti Kot kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Flavio Vittori. That made the score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Thunderstorm Riders's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Damazy Kensicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Martin Tudoran in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Porziano Marchitelli. Kudret Tüzer came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Flavio Vittori could save by the left post. If Koti Kot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zaccheo Andolina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gomberto Picozzi hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Kudret Tüzer made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 54th minute of play forced Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Damazy Kensicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damazy Kensicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigfrido Auletta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damazy Kensicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 56th minute of the match. Martin Tudoran made in the 57th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Zhuang Tian Kun however managed to control. In the 72nd minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Kensicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Italy's Porziano Marchitelli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Damazy Kensicki. Damazy Kensicki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. If Siricio Liotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Adriano Curto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Damazy Kensicki. The goal made the score 1-2. The Italy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Italy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
