Lemel SV's George Wiklund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Lemel SV from getting a goal against them. Ladislav Lomnický showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Konradsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ľubomír Smatana came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and George Wiklund could save by the left post. UFC Pivnica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Viktor Kasarda in the 15th minute. George Wiklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ľubomír Smatana in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Konradsson in the 19th minute of play forced UFC Pivnica's goalkeeper Ladislav Lomnický to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Viktor Kasarda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but George Wiklund skillfully saved the ball. When UFC Pivnica's Stanislav Záruba in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. João Augusto Mello ran over to the corner to take the kick. 39 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goalkeeper George Wiklund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ľubomír Smatana. 40 minutes into the match, UFC Pivnica's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Furia came free, but Ladislav Lomnický reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ladislav Lomnický stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manfred Konradsson's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manfred Konradsson in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ladislav Lomnický prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lemel SV's George Wiklund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Lemel SV from getting a goal against them. After 46 minutes, Viktor Kasarda made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Lemel SV's George Wiklund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ettore Petroni to make the kick off. The supporters of Lemel SV booed when UFC Pivnica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Vičan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ettore Petronis short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Ladislav Lomnický to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by UFC Pivnica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. João Augusto Mello was slow to take the kick. During this time Lemel SV's players had a chance to rest. Lemel SV's Jacek Furlit was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ladislav Lomnický in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of UFC Pivnica booed when Lemel SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacek Furlit didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, UFC Pivnica's Viktor Kasarda tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind UFC Pivnica's goalkeeper Ladislav Lomnický, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ľubomír Smatana struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. George Wiklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UFC Pivnica. Lemel SV's Dennis Bergkamp was substituted for Ettore Petroni. In the 67th minute, Dennis Bergkamp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ladislav Lomnický was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ladislav Lomnický came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Lemel SV's Dennis Bergkamp. But to his dismay, Dennis Bergkamp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Emiliano Furia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ladislav Lomnický made a huge save. Dennis Bergkamp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ladislav Lomnický having to make a save. Ladislav Lomnický took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Bergkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dennis Bergkamp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dennis Bergkamp took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ladislav Lomnický. Ladislav Lomnický dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. When Stanislav Záruba fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UFC Pivnica's protests and gave Stanislav Záruba a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, UFC Pivnica's Stanislav Záruba got a free kick in the 84th minute. Lemel SV's George Wiklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ľubomír Smatana in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavol Rybnický in the 88th minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper George Wiklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ladislav Lomnický didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dennis Bergkamp went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute, Pavol Rybnický got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lemel SV had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
