Dale Dolar started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dale Dolar got free with Yao Zhan Sang in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hudson Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Tomas Levander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Saa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Yao Zhan Sang managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Barcellos Mineiro FC's Dale Dolar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dale Dolar took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yao Zhan Sang. Yao Zhan Sang dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Yao Zhan Sang was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dale Dolar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. Yao Zhan Sang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dale Dolar in the 38th minute of play. After 40 minutes Borussia Dortmund's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amílton Loyola who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Amílton Loyola got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yao Zhan Sang quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Barcellos Mineiro FC's Dale Dolar in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Borussia Dortmund's goalie prevented a goal. Dale Dolar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Yao Zhan Sang made a huge save. After 47 minutes, Omar Orlanda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borussia Dortmund and the Barcellos Mineiro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Omar Orlanda hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Grover stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 55th minute of the game was made by Yakup Sargut with Tomas Levander as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a little luck, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Vânderson Saa got control of the ball when Baltazar Clavijo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute Dale Dolar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Zhan Sang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Dale Dolar sped through Borussia Dortmund's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yao Zhan Sang. In the 64th minute, Dale Dolar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Levander in the 67th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Vânderson Saa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Jorge Carrascal replaced Dale Dolar. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Tião Paraíba was substituted for Radul Kokalov. Vânderson Saa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Grover, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yao Zhan Sang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Carrascal in the 82nd minute of the match. Jorge Carrascal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Jorge Carrascal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yao Zhan Sang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 95 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Jorge Carrascal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yao Zhan Sang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vânderson Saa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Levander showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-1 in the 96 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Barcellos Mineiro FC had won after a very even match.
