When FC Buciumii's Cristinel Gheară in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ladislav Lomnický took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Gheară, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Pavel Balc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ladislav Lomnický was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After 28 minutes of play, UFC Pivnica's Viktor Kasarda made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roch Grondzki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roch Grondzki made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Stanislav Záruba sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, FC Buciumii's goalkeeper Roch Grondzki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ľubomír Smatana. 39 minutes into the match, Pavel Balc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ladislav Lomnický. UFC Pivnica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pavel Balc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Pavel Balc struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Ladislav Lomnický didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Buciumii. Ladislav Lomnický didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pavel Balc went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The UFC Pivnica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Buciumii were winning 2-3.

Ladislav Lomnický showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristinel Gheară, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute FC Buciumii were awarded a corner. Dumitru Ghițulescu went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, FC Buciumii's Pavel Balc got a free kick in the 57th minute. Eraldo Serantoni struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Ladislav Lomnický didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Buciumii. FC Buciumii made a substitution. Cătălin Elchev replaced Adrían Addi. A sloppy throw-in by Daniel Vičan in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Buciumii's Dumitru Ghițulescu. With a little luck, UFC Pivnica's Ladislav Lomnický got control of the ball when Pavel Balc tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Balc in the 67th minute of play forced UFC Pivnica's goalkeeper Ladislav Lomnický to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute of the match FC Buciumii got a corner. UFC Pivnica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dumitru Ghițulescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cristinel Gheară made a great header on FC Buciumii's corner, it was just that UFC Pivnica's Ladislav Lomnický managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Balc in the 79th minute of play forced UFC Pivnica's goalkeeper Ladislav Lomnický to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pavel Balc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Ladislav Lomnický made a huge save. In the 84th minute of the match FC Buciumii got a corner. Pavel Balc blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ladislav Lomnický having to make a save. Jozef Cifra hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When Dumitru Ghițulescu came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the FC Buciumii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dumitru Ghițulescu couldn't finish the play. The FC Buciumii supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Buciumii would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
