Italy's Sigfrido Auletta got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind RKS Królewscy's goalkeeper Emil Malik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Siricio Liotta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Emil Malik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RKS Królewscy's Frank de Boer was substituted for Sérgio Ramos. After 70 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Zaccheo Andolina. RKS Królewscy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucjan Palzewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Italy's Sigfrido Auletta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Malik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. Cruz Beckham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Vittori having to interfere. When the match was over Italy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than RKS Królewscy throughout the match.
