Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Club A. Independiente's Emilio Henric sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. After 20 played minutes Club A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Venceslas. Willy Stieler hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Emilio Henric fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Henric in the 34th minute of play. If Emilio Henric had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Henric in the 37th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Club A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Hao Guo Xing. In the 41st match minute, Club A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Rocio to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emilio Henric showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 45 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Henric made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. Alejo Orlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Henric sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 59th minute Emilio Henric shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Shtapov in the 61st minute of play. Gaspar Rocio made in the 63rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Emilio Henric. 66 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Henric came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Emilio Henric ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Alejo Orlo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club A. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Orlo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Club A. Independiente's Gaspar Rocio got a free kick in the 75th minute. 84 minutes into the game, Club A. Independiente's Emilio Henric nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The supporters of Germany booed when Club A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hao Guo Xing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Henric in the 90th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Henric, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club A. Independiente fully deserved thier win.
