Ignacio Di Stasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Pedro Domingues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. Ignacio Di Stasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 43rd minute of the game Gustaw Jaraczeski made a throw-in which Orvar Carlsson played forward. The supporters of Portugal booed when Isótopos V.M. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orvar Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viriato Moura to strike the kick off in the second half.
