Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Epifanio Harkaitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The Germany fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Germany's Frank Sachs looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. LEBRON were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
