The supporters of Dionisia booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Dionisia's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Pimentel came free, but Aquiles Senio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15thth minute of the game Evaristo Benet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, Dionisia's Peng Sha Yang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Aquiles Senio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 22nd minute of play. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aquiles Senio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Cheng Xiong Yuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stanislovas Miškinis kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Peng Sha Yang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquiles Senio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 31st minute of the match. Aquiles Senio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Moreira in the 37th minute of play forced Dionisia's goalkeeper Aquiles Senio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Dionisia made a substitution. Arnaldo Beturian replaced Evaristo Benet. The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Viriato Moura sped through Dionisia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aquiles Senio. Graciano Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Dionisia made a substitution. Sebastian Cisco replaced Peng Sha Yang. German Naelio's late challenge caught a Portugal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Naelio helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Arnaldo Beturian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Arnaldo Beturian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. In the 74th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Miranda to maneuver through the defense. After 79 minutes of play, Portugal's Felipinho Amorim made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquiles Senio was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Beturian in the 89th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanislovas Miškinis kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Dionisia's Tomás Xacintu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Faustino Almeida in the 93 minute of the game. Arnaldo Beturian took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 98th minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Senio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
