When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and William Andries made a kick off. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sinsin. After 71 minutes Sinsin's goalkeeper Bavo Van Eeckhout managed, with a little bit of luck, save Claude Ingelborgh's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Bavo Van Eeckhout made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Andries in the 73rd minute. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 1-6 when William Andries sped through Sinsin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bavo Van Eeckhout. After a rather tough play, Sinsin's Ernst Matthijs got a free kick in the 87th minute. Sinsin's Bavo Van Eeckhout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Andries in the 88th minute of play.
