In the 22nd minute, Fabio Schneider made a precise shot to the right of Fedele Di Berardino. LA Lord Perez's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The supporters of Austria booed when LA Lord Perez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Prisco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonhard Maier charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonhard Maier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Leonhard Maier. Leonhard Maier struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Fedele Di Berardino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Austria. Alfonso Melani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Schneider in the 78th minute of play forced LA Lord Perez's goalkeeper Fedele Di Berardino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Marvin Harrer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Austria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA Lord Perez the free kick. If Sandro Galishoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
