Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerome Ngake, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benny Hill, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Jerome Ngake didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Draconia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. FC Draconia's Jerome Ngake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 70th minute of play. Wim Wilmes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Jerome Ngake skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jerome Ngake made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 87th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When Joaquin Lekubegi came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the FC Draconia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquin Lekubegi couldn't finish the play. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
