Bociany SA's Genzo Wakabayashi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 38th minute of play. Wiktor Bielatowicz's late challenge caught a Portugal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Portugal's attack was well implemented in the 77th minute, but when Bartolomeu Dias was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The Portugal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
