After a rather tough play, Germany's Frank Sachs got a free kick in the 6th minute. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Skytt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcus Skytt scored 2-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42ndth minute of the game Wu Qi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Wu Qi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wu Qi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. With 48 minutes on the clock, Janik Vogt commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 47 minutes into the game, one of Germany:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albin Holweck to strike the kick off in the second half. Wu Qi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wu Qi in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Wu Qi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Samurai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Wu Qi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. 61 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Wu Qi came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samurai's Marcus Skytt got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Marcus Skytt made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Samurai's Terry Silver was substituted for Hernán Grana. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Timmy Henriksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Timmy Henriksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esbjörn Hultstrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esbjörn Hultstrand in the 84th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Samurai's Esbjörn Hultstrand nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esbjörn Hultstrand in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samurai were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Germany for a fine match.
