Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Paulista in the 3rd minute of the match. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. Arlindo Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Eikelkamp in the 5th minute of the match. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Wim Wilmes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Antônio Carlos Bueno sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Netherlands booed when AF CERRADO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 18th minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Arlindo Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. Bas Tuitert's late challenge caught a AF CERRADO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bas Tuitert helped the player get up and apologised. Arnout Reekers had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Jaime Pombal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Pombal was slow to take the kick. During this time AF CERRADO's players had a chance to rest. The corner led AF CERRADO's Jaime Pombal to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnout Reekers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 33 minutes into the game, AF CERRADO's Marcos Paulista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Carlos Alberto Jacinto got a free kick in the 36th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Lucas came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Bas Tuitert. Pedro Lopez hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Antônio Carlos Bueno made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Nestor Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Murilo Lucas took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 62nd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 63rd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Arlindo Guedes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arlindo Guedes. That made the score 2-1 after 66 minutes of play. AF CERRADO's Dennis Contaldi was substituted for Róbson Bittencourt. AF CERRADO's Elano Tande was substituted for Pedro Lopez. AF CERRADO made a substitution. Felix Smits replaced Carlos Alberto Jacinto. Arlindo Guedes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 71st minute. After 73 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arlindo Guedes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute Antônio Carlos Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Guedes having to interfere. AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 83rd minute of play. Bas Tuitert lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Netherlands! Netherlands:s Arnout Reekers showed great skill when he stopped Jaime Pombal:s penalty. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Pombal was slow to take the kick. During this time AF CERRADO's players had a chance to rest. Jaime Pombal made a great header on AF CERRADO's corner, it was just that Netherlands's Arnout Reekers managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in AF CERRADO's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arlindo Guedes came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Lucas in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Lucas came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
