Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. 1. FC Krotoszyn's Herbert Pawelczyk quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Linus Schwerner, made in the 17th minute of the game. The supporters of 1. FC Krotoszyn booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hieronim Bugajski kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Germany's Frank Sachs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cengizhan Şahistan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 28th minute, 1. Cengizhan Şahistan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Karol Zdeb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Karol Zdeb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute Karol Zdeb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cengizhan Şahistan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 81st minute of the match. With a little luck, 1. FC Krotoszyn's Cengizhan Şahistan got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wawrzyniec Kisielka in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Franciszek Bienienda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that 1. FC Krotoszyn were the better team. 1. FC Krotoszyn's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
