After a defensive mix-up in Italy's zone, Dave Di Filippo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal and Dave Di Filippo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Di Filippo in the 8th minute of play. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Di Filippo in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Dave Di Filippo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oskar Haeger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Porziano Marchitelli in the 14th minute of the match. Zena Busacca kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ingemar Stålman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. In the 25th minute, Erland Mellin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oskar Haeger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Oskar Haeger. Oskar Haeger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 43rd minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Haeger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oskar Haeger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

Hermanö Oilers made a substitution. Fabian Ramond replaced Apa Banana. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dave Di Filippo made a kick off. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Hood in the 54th minute of play. With a little luck, Hermanö Oilers's Oskar Haeger got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hermanö Oilers's Hjalmar Askelöf was substituted for Erland Mellin. Italy's Siricio Liotta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Harry Forsman in the 63 minute of the game. Oskar Haeger made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Di Filippo in the 70th minute of play. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harel Minsky in the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th minute of the game Hjalmar Askelöf made a throw-in which Harry Forsman played forward. A collision led to Hermanö Oilers getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jacek Zielinski hit a great ball. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. After a rather tough play, Hermanö Oilers's Jacek Zielinski got a free kick in the 89th minute. With an all-out effort, Italy's Oskar Haeger threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adriano Curto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 93 minutes of play, Hermanö Oilers's Robin Hood made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Vittori was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Hermanö Oilers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Italy's performance. The match ended with a win for Italy.
