Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zheng Yang Zhen started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özbek Samet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8thth minute of the game Zheng Yang Zhen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Edward Vanderstraeten came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Vanderstraeten couldn't finish the play. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Özbek Samet. Özbek Samet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Özbek Samet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zheng Yang Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Zheng Yang Zhen charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zheng Yang Zhen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Özbek Samet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yves Dervaux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Özbek Samet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Zheng Yang Zhen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 41st minute of play forced ΠΑΟΚ FC's goalkeeper Özbek Samet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Sotiris Zacharakis sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the ΠΑΟΚ FC defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Özbek Samet. The ΠΑΟΚ FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Özbek Samet should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. Özbek Samet was a little too slow when Edward Vanderstraeten got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-3. After 54 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Nigel Devos. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Petros Mirtsos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Petros Mirtsos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the ΠΑΟΚ FC defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Özbek Samet. The ΠΑΟΚ FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Özbek Samet should have stopped the shot. ΠΑΟΚ FC made a substitution. Vassilis Bitsikas replaced Savas Karameris. Özbek Samet came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zheng Yang Zhen in the 74th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Guillaume Bonte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Zheng Yang Zhen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Claes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zheng Yang Zhen in the 84th minute of play. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zheng Yang Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 92 minutes Belgium's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Petros Mirtsos who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Petros Mirtsos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Casper Claes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Nigel Devos fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belgium's protests and gave Nigel Devos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Nigel Devos got a free kick in the 96th minute. It was beautiful to see ΠΑΟΚ FC's Theofanis Klotsobounidas in action when he in the 98th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Belgium's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
