The audience was convinced that Delyan Partinov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slavey Dochevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanislav Búlgarov succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 42nd playminute. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Stanislav Búlgarov took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Fodor Daniel to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Blue avalanche's goalkeeper Slavey Dochevski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Major Barna. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omurtag Púrvulov in the 54th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Antal Valentin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Slavey Dochevski. That made the score 3-1 in the 59 minute of play. Blue avalanche's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ronaldinho Gaúcho in the 66th minute. The corner ended in Ronaldinho Gaúcho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel did a great save. In the 67th minute, Seymour Coffman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Seymour Coffman came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 71st minute of play forced Blue avalanche's goalkeeper Slavey Dochevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Blue avalanche's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omurtag Púrvulov in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delyan Partinov in the 80th minute of play. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stanislav Búlgarov's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slavey Dochevski having to interfere. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delyan Partinov in the 88th minute of play. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the game, Seymour Coffman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blue avalanche's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. After a rather tough play, Blue avalanche's Seymour Coffman got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislav Búlgarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Blue avalanche fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hungary had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
