The wind increased when Edward Vanderstraeten made the kick off in the second half. Marjus Laçka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game was made by Cesare Bellisario with Edmundson Ross as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Åke Hellström fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺ‍ᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s protests and gave Åke Hellström a yellow card for diving instead. Edward Vanderstraeten hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundson Ross, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Palmisano in the 83rd minute of play. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvaro Vitullo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edmundson Ross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺ‍ᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s Ture Asklöv got a free kick in the 94th minute.
