After a rather tough play, Zemantauskas FC's Luiz Fabiano Pombal got a free kick in the 13th minute. Ferdi Saksø who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Hias Nüssli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 19th match minute, Switzerland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuele Kunz to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Zemantauskas FC's Ferdi Saksø got a free kick in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Reha Pekel in the 28th minute of play forced Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Otto Scherbaum in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Switzerland's Timo Siegmund. 2-0 became the score in the 38th minute when Ferdi Saksø elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 3-0 became the score in the 44th minute when Ahmet Reha Pekel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuele Kunz to make the kick off. Luiz Fabiano Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Hias Nüssli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Zemantauskas FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Otto Scherbaum hit a great ball. Zemantauskas FC's Carlos Augusto Arósio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Zemantauskas FC from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute, Luiz Fabiano Pombal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hias Nüssli was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Samuele Kunz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Carlos Augusto Arósio made a huge save. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdi Saksø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Ahmet Reha Pekel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hias Nüssli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Augusto Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Maurer in the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zemantauskas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Samuele Kunz was slow to take the kick. During this time Switzerland's players had a chance to rest. Samuele Kunz made a great header on Switzerland's corner, it was just that Zemantauskas FC's Carlos Augusto Arósio managed to reach the ball for a save. The Zemantauskas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Switzerland had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
