In the 3rd minute Reuben Billington shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reuben Billington, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Teofil Plech hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute of the match Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justino Ungia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Coleira in the 16th minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justino Ungia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Ungia having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Sugamuxi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nataniel Hormaza to maneuver through the defense. Teofilo Coleira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Netherlands's Sijmen Clous was substituted for Wim Wilmes. Teofil Plech kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Sugamuxi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Netherlands:s goal. In the 40thth minute of the game Lars Meesters who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sugamuxi's Justino Ungia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Nataniel Hormaza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sugamuxi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. After 47 played minutes Sugamuxi got a freekick which was hit by Nataniel Hormaza. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Ungia having to interfere. Netherlands's Sijmen Clous got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Sugamuxi's Justino Ungia got control of the ball when Sijmen Clous tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Sugamuxi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Egbert Nijveldt managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Justino Ungia however easily saved by the left post. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Coleira in the 67th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Justino Ungia made a huge save. Justino Ungia made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a good shot on target. During the 71st minute of the match Teofil Plech completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Teofil Plech a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 71st minute, Teofil Plech hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sugamuxi made a substitution. Cordero Jesus replaced Goyo Salais. Justino Ungia was a little too slow when Sijmen Clous got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-2. Sugamuxi's Justino Ungia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Sugamuxi from getting a goal against them. Justino Ungia made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored 0-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justino Ungia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sugamuxi's Nerio Doro was substituted for Tadeo Jokin. The Sugamuxi supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Netherlands's performance. The match ended with a win for Netherlands.
