A throw-in in the 2nd minute of the game was made by Sandro Galishoff with Fabio Schneider as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 4th minute, Sandro Galishoff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gonçalo Marquez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Fabio Schneider recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gonçalo Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Galishoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Leandro Capixaba fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Airborne FC's protests and gave Leandro Capixaba a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Airborne FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Leandro Capixaba hit a great ball. Gonçalo Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Schneider, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of Austria booed when Airborne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonçalo Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Galishoff in the 15th minute of the match. Abel Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Austria's Sandro Galishoff got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Leonhard Maier sped through Airborne FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gonçalo Marquez. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Jonas Nalder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Austria's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Nalder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonçalo Marquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonçalo Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Galishoff in the 27th minute of play. Gonçalo Marquez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sandro Galishoff went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Fabio Schneider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Schneider scored 0-4 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gonçalo Marquez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 42 minutes, Fabio Schneider managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Austria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Schneider was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Airborne FC's goalkeeper Gonçalo Marquez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Fabio Schneider took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Gonçalo Marquez to make any attempt to save it. 55 minutes into the match, Airborne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Schneider came free, but Gonçalo Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Leonhard Maier dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gonçalo Marquez, 0-6. With a little luck, Airborne FC's Gonçalo Marquez got control of the ball when Sandro Galishoff tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marvin Harrer in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gonçalo Marquez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 66th minute Leonhard Maier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Airborne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Schneider came free, but Gonçalo Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fabio Schneider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Cristian Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fabio Schneider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. In the 83rd play minute Fabio Schneider came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gonçalo Marquez. 0-7. In the 88th minute, Fabio Schneider made a precise shot to the right of Gonçalo Marquez. Airborne FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Jonas Nalder received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gonçalo Marquez came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonas Nalder slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 91st minute. Gonçalo Marquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandro Galishoff in the 96th minute. The Airborne FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Austria were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
