Armandinho Vergílio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Sydney Barros made a huge save. In the 12th match minute, Granadero10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Falcão to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Granadero10 booed when A.A. Francana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Vítor Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gugu Travassos in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Telmo Trigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Senna in the 17th minute of play forced A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Telmo Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gugu Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Trigo having to interfere. Arnaldo Ramos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sydney Barros came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnaldo Ramos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 20th minute. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Betão Senna put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Telmo Trigo. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Granadero10 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
