Cesinha Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Veloso having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesinha Meirelles in the 15th minute of play forced Dragons EC's goalkeeper Telmo Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes, Luís Fernando Fantini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragons EC and the Dinamo Colorado players grew even worse after the yellow card. Despite this Telmo Veloso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 23rd minute, Gugu Guimarães reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Telmo Veloso. The goal made the score 2-0. Telmo Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha Meirelles in the 29th minute of the match. Telmo Veloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 38 minutes into the match, Gugu Guimarães had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Telmo Veloso. Dragons EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gugu Guimarães was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Alanzinho Patrick struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Telmo Veloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dinamo Colorado.

Telmo Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute of the match, Cauan Leal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wellington Abraão was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that André Luís das Neves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Telmo Veloso was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Cesinha Meirelles made a precise shot to the right of Telmo Veloso. Dragons EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Dinamo Colorado's Erasmo Martins was substituted for Marcel Matos. Telmo Veloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Luís das Neves went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dinamo Colorado fully deserved thier win.
