Cauan Leal started the match with the kick off. Dragons EC's Telmo Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Guedes in the 4th minute of play. After 5 minutes Dragons EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was César Salgado who took care of the corner kick. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Fernandão Netto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Telmo Veloso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexsandro Alves during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexsandro Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Rafinha Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Rafinha Custódio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Telmo Veloso. Dragons EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafinha Custódio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The throw-in from Henrique Gaspar in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Maurício Soeiro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafinha Custódio in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Telmo Veloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Josué Viana got a free kick in the 21st minute. A collision led to Dragons EC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Wanderson das Neves hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Rafinha Custódio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Telmo Veloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafinha Custódio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Telmo Veloso having to make a save. Telmo Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafinha Custódio in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Rafinha Custódio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 35 minutes into the game, Rafinha Custódio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Telmo Veloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute, Rafinha Custódio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. If Rafinha Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rafinha Custódio in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Telmo Veloso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Dragons EC booed when E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafinha Custódio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Telmo Veloso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 61 minutes of play E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Josué Viana was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Dragons EC booed when E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Simão Baptista dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Telmo Veloso, 0-7. Rafinha Custódio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Telmo Veloso came out and tried to block the shot, but Rafinha Custódio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 76th minute. Rafinha Custódio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Rafinha Custódio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Telmo Veloso came out and tried to block the shot, but Rafinha Custódio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 82nd minute. After 92 played minutes Dragons EC got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Vianna. When César Salgado came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that César Salgado couldn't finish the play. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
