Mauro Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Fors in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Anthon Eliasson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Catarinense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eric Ivarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute, Åke Fors left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Degerfors IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 13thth minute of the game Anthon Eliasson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Mauro Catarinense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Åke Fors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the game, Degerfors IF's Anthon Eliasson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauro Catarinense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 19 minutes into the match, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Anthon Eliasson came free, but Mauro Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthon Eliasson in the 30th minute of play forced Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's goalkeeper Mauro Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anthon Eliasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Catarinense having to interfere. A collision led to Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Rony Sergipano hit a great ball. Mauro Catarinense came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Degerfors IF's Anthon Eliasson. But to his dismay, Anthon Eliasson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After a rather tough play, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's César Salles got a free kick in the 45th minute. The Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Degerfors IF were winning 0-4.

The throw-in from Miguel Catarinense in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Degerfors IF's Billy Pihlberg. Miguel Catarinense hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. FSCMZ's Mauro Catarinense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. After 66 minutes, Júnior Arruda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ and the Degerfors IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mauro Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Fors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Fors came free, but Mauro Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Åke Fors had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Catarinense. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Åke Fors was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After a rather tough play, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Armando de Brito got a free kick in the 79th minute. Anthon Eliasson's late challenge caught a Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anthon Eliasson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Anthon Eliasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Fors in the 95th minute of the match. When the match was over Degerfors IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ throughout the match.
