Alfredo Quilo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Telmo Veloso made a huge save. Amboy FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Silvio Torres in the 44th minute. The corner led Amboy FC's Silvio Torres to fire away a dangerous shot which Telmo Veloso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Quilo to make the kick off.
