Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Almir Amorim got the match started through his kick off. Luizão Bocanegra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dragons EC's zone, Luizão Bocanegra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Veloso came out of the goal and Luizão Bocanegra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armando Orlando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Dragons EC's goal looked a bit too open when Luizão Bocanegra came free, but Telmo Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Luizão Bocanegra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.A. Francana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luizão Bocanegra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Telmo Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean de Barros in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the match A.A. Francana got a corner. Dragons EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cido Vinhas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Cido Vinhas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Telmo Veloso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 25th minute, Luizão Bocanegra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo Veloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Luizão Bocanegra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Veloso having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Luizão Bocanegra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Telmo Veloso was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Jeremias Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Wilson Cassia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Almir Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half A.A. Francana were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luizão Bocanegra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jean de Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Telmo Veloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Caco Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Cido Vinhas in the 64th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Telmo Veloso's left hand side. Ruy Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Luizão Bocanegra might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Telmo Veloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luizão Bocanegra ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeremias Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Ruy Fantini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Telmo Veloso made a huge save. Dragons EC's Telmo Veloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Dragons EC from getting a goal against them. Almir Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Cassia having to make a save. A.A. Francana's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
